About Me

I am a mum of four and live in Buckinghamshire with my lovely family. I have been around horses from the age of six, so quite some years now! Having decided horses would be my lifelong passion, I took myself off to university and studied for an Equine Science degree tailoring my modules to behaviour, veterinary science and genetics amongst other areas. Alongside my degree I studied towards BHS exams. Having left university I lived and worked on a family run racing yard, breeding and selling young racehorses all over the UK and Ireland alongside teaching all ages to ride.

Photography however is my absolute passion - capturing those special moments with our amazing animals, creating memories to cherish forever. Having such an in depth knowledge of the equine form, movement and behaviour, enables me to get those perfect shots.

I have completed training in the art of equine photography with two of the countries leading equine photographers and have gone on to have three of my photographs accepted into the final of the British Institute of Professional Photographers awards where I won my category and achieved first second and third placings in the regional finals with my equine portraiture. DI have also been awarded a prestigious Merit for a photograph in The Training Barn's Equestrian Photograph of the Year Competition, as well as silver and bronze awards.
